Cosmic Horror

while I was in introduced to cosmic horror through the works of HP Lovecraft, I have found the things to be consistent throughout my writing. I’ve also found influences for this type of horror from Stephen King, Clive, Barker, and many other authors. What I like the most about cosmic horror is the complexity interconnectedness of the things ever bring fear from the family secrets to the concept of the mythos.

While, sometimes I dip into the 1920s Most of my cosmic horror is based in modern times from the 2000s forward. I find that the modern age of the Internet and technology have all the elements we need for feelings of insignificance, isolation and the exposure of horrific secrets as well as my personal favorite the search for forbidden knowledge.
