Count Down to Launch

BLOTS launches October 22nd!

To get ready for launch, today I’m announcing the formation of my Street Team.

What’s a Street Team?

Street Teams are people who help spread the word. Music bands work with Street Teams to put stickers on signs and hang posters on walls. Authors use Street Teams to spread the word on their books using digital stickers and posters on Social Media.

Street Team members build energy and awareness. In this case, I need Street Team members who can build awareness and energy around my books.

Why join the Street Team

I’m a firm believer in building a community through storytelling. This Street Team is a community that I’m going to build to help me deliver the best stories for my readers. Members of the Street Team will get early access to what I’m working on and get to provide input to help me tell stories that connect us.

What the Street Team gets:

  • Advanced Reading Copies (ARC) of future books for you to read and give me feedback on prior to launch. [NOTE: BLOTS’ ARC period is over and so joining the Street Team will give you access to future stories]

  • A Street Team Pack which gives you all kinds of goodies to share online with others. Look, I know you’re crazy busy and stressed out with life. Most people are. This pack is to give you a short cut on what to say and what to post in your social media channels. It is designed to make sharing my books easier but it is 100% up to you what you say and what you share :)

  • My gratitude! Seriously, I am very thankful for people who will help me realize my vision of growing this writing career. Thank you for your interest and participation.

Joining the Street Team

I’m going to try to keep this super simple. Just fill out this form and that will get you registered in my Street Team list. This ALSO registers you for my newsletter to stay in contact with me.

Thank you!

I have gotten a crazy amount of support from my last post announcing BLOTS. Thank you all for the love and encouragement. I’ll be honest, this is a scary thing. All the things that could go horribly wrong scream in my head. What if I fail! What if everyone hates it! But, there’s another voice asking a more important question: What if everything is amazing? What if this is the first step to something amazing? I’m hopeful, that voice, the quiet voice whispering that things can be amazing is the voice that’s right :)
