Starting a new project for #nanowrimo! This time, we’re going non-fiction!

This week, I dig into some projects that I’ve been working on outside of writing. I hope you enjoy! I also play with the idea of what if our dreams could be drawn on the window.

This week we review The Bone Houses by Emily Lloyd-Jones and see what I learned from the book. We also retell a creation my where when the wrong person speaks first, everything gets all messed up.

This week I dig into my creative process a bit. Kind of rambling thoughts going on here so enter at your own risk (of time that you might not get any value from). I explore what kind of “creative” I am and how I leverage creative distractions to find even more creativity.

I reflect on getting my first rejection for fiction work. While I’m expecting many more, I reflect a bit on how to use my reaction to the rejection for turning a bummer into a bumper knocking me towards something better.
